Data changelog

Current dataset vintage: 2026-07-05. We log only changes we can verify from ETL metadata or git, not invented history.

PlainSolarData pages regenerate from a shared database. When upstream agencies publish new NREL, EIA, or DSIRE releases, or when we apply a verified correction, the change propagates across every page that uses the field. See our corrections process to report an error.

1. 2026-08-27 correction

   Named-source market context on calculator and guide pages

   Centralized SEIA install statistics and DB-derived irradiance ranges via SolarMarketContext; net-metering illustrative ROI chart now carries named constants and a source label. Commit 79433ed.

2. 2026-07-05 data refresh

   Full database rebuild (NREL, EIA, DSIRE extract)

   Unified ETL rebuild completed, 51 state profiles, 137 incentive programs, solar capacity time series, and computed Solar Scores. _metadata rebuild_completed stamp.

No older public changelog entries are recorded for this portal yet. The next upstream EIA Form 861 or DSIRE refresh will be listed here after the ETL run completes.
